Students will learn about cultures from all corners of the globe, focusing on ancient cultures (e.g. Greek and Egyptian) as well as modern (e.g. Scandinavian, Japanese) and indigenous cultures (e.g. Australian Aborigines, New Zealand Maori and Native American cultures). Pages explore all facets of cultures such as beliefs, storytelling, clothing, customs, traditions, holidays and festivals, language, food and recreation. The activities aim to develop students' creative thinking skills using the theme of world cultures. Each activity is stand-alone and all activities are ideal for either a learning centre, homework challenge or general library or classroom lessons.
